Misogyny Should Not Be A Hate Crime

Misogyny is being recorded as a hate crime in Manchester.. including online misogyny. Haven’t they got anything better to do?

I mean, if someone is rude or condescending I just put that down to someone being rude and an arsehole. If a man goes beyond that into violence then there are already laws to deal with that including assault charges and domestic violence laws. Even verbal insults can be dealt with by way of common assault laws.

Just the other day I was walking past a pub with two men sitting on a table outside and behind me four women were also walking past them. As the women passed the men on the table they “coughed” and said “slags”. The thing is these women were dressed in normal day clothes, it wasn’t as if they scantily clad (that wouldnt make the comments acceptable but it goes towards highlighting how unneccesary the comments were). One woman responded “very mature”. I thought they were two childish morons and that they were a pair of idiots and low life’s… but in Manchester that could be recorded as a hate crime.

In my old job I used to get comments about my height all the time on the street.. I am quite short for a bloke… now where is the hate crime being recorded for me? Abuse based on my physical appearance?

I just put it down to people being arseholes.. get on with it. Everyone is a victim of something. I do differentiate sexism from misogyny because sexism holds women back unfairly and unequally against men in life. But misogyny seems to just be an excuse to create a crime over a perceived insult.

There really are better things the police could be dealing with rather than someone’s hurt feelings on the Internet.

Good, because that is exactly what it is, a hate crime!”

The collective history of the male gender and their hatred for the female gender is due partly to men believing females are inferior human beings and also interlopers who should keep out of men’s territory, men’s territory being the whole world whilst limiting women’s to just four walls.
When men attack women on the streets, men then expect women to suffer a curfew and curtail their freedoms, whilst men carry on as normal.
Its don’t wear this or don’t wear that, don’t attract unwanted attention or suffer the consequences of trespassing into men’s territory.
Don’t get drunk, don’t go out alone, inhibit your behaviour woman or else you deserve all you get, for being where you shouldn’t, in a world that is anti the female.

Men have always elevated their own self esteem by smashing down the females, its a very old male tradition and its what being a man is all about and its manly you know to be a smug arrogant vain coward.

Men rely on their fists and penises as weapons to prop themselves up, and very few expect women to retaliate physically, that is why men are cowards!
They insult and patronise women endlessly, sneering at them and never think women will have the nerve or audacity to fight back.

Yes, misogyny is a hate crime and yes men should face the full consequences for committing it! because it is not until men are fully humiliated for their own smug cowardice that they will cease to commit it!
